Old the first floor is devoted to the memory of Christian Michelsen and was left largely as it was on his death in 1925. Already in 1927, the Museum was opened to the public and only minor changes have been made since that time. The Museum section consists of a total of eight different rooms each of which has its interesting pages and which brought together tells a lot about Allied and the conditions at the beginning of the 20th century and about Christian Michelsen especially. The Interior is a mix of contemporary nasjonalromantikk, art nouveau and the older Interior that Michelsen has not fully acquainted from their previous home in Nygårdsparken.The second floor is unfortunately closed to the public. Floor stands mainly intact as it was in Michelsen time even if some modernifiseringer has been done. Also this floor, however, is closed to the public.Basement floor houses in the day-old the operating Department with workshop and Office as well as an inhabited apartment. This function allows it enough have had also in Michelsen. From the basement was also central heat ruled in one of Bergen's very first House with central heating.
