Den Fuglen Mynah, eller Myna, fikk

Den Fuglen Mynah, eller Myna, fikk jeg først kjennskap til etter at jeg flyttet til Thailand. Den er en asiatisk fugl som tilhører stærfamilien, som også omfatter Europa-stæren. I Norge har jeg kun hatt kjennskap til den fuglen som omtales som den ”Beo-stær”. Den Beo fuglen er også fra Asia og er litt større en den fuglen Mynah.
Begge disse stærtypene er kjent for sin evne til å imitere tale og mange slags lyder.
Nesten daglig fikk jeg besøk av et par av fuglearten Mynah når jeg var bosatt i Jomtien. Til å begynne med satt de på balkongen, men etter hvert begynte de å vandre inn i leiligheten som om de var bosatt der. De ville sikkert blitt tamme med tiden hvis jeg hadde fortsatt å bo i den aktuelle leiligheten.

The Mynah Bird, or, I got the Myna first knowledge of after I moved to Thailand. It is an Asian bird that belongs to stærfamilien, which also includes European Starling. In Norway, I have only had knowledge of the bird that is referred to as the "Bèo-Starling". The Bèo bird is also from Asia and is a little larger than the Mynah bird.Both of these stærtypene is known for his ability to imitate the speech and many kinds of sounds.Almost daily I got a visit from a pair of Mynah bird species when I was a resident of Jomtien. To begin with they sat on the balcony, but eventually they began to wander into the apartment as if they were resident there.
