Heldigvis har man flere steder sprettet opp sømmen til støttestoffet slik at det er mulig å se litt av vrangsiden. For kaprunens vedkommende har støttestoffet blitt fjernet helt slik at alle sømmer kan sees på begge sider. Noen fragmenter som i dag er løse har jeg identifisert som deler av kofta eller skjorta. På disse har jeg også fritt innsyn til vrangsiden. Ikke på noen av disse stedene har jeg funnet eksempler på tråklesting gjort fra vrangsiden, med unntak av fragment S2 som muligens kan være deler av skjortas venstre erme.
