I underkant har stoffet som kommer

I underkant har stoffet som kommer fra forsiden blitt brettet inn og lagt over stoffet som kommer fra baksiden (motsatt av tilsvarende søm på kofta). På det som sannsynligvis er venstre sides ermekile har ermet blitt brettet inn og lagt over kilen som trolig er ubrettet. Trolig har kilen også ligget ubrettet under hovedstoffet slik som på kofta (se fig…). På fragment S2 kan en annen type søm sees. Her er kantene sydd sammen med forstingsøm fra vrangsiden, og sømmonnet er i dag ikke festet. Fragmentet er dårlig bevart her, så en søm (eventuelt to) kan ha råtnet vekk. Det har en jarekant på sømmonnet til det som må ha vært bakdelen på ermet (dersom den tilhører skjorta).
