The most common sammensyningsmetoden on the Skjoldehamndrakten is a type of tråklesøm done from the RS. I guess that the seam is equivalent to the "invisible" seam that Else Østegård writes about in his book about the costume finds from medieval Greenland (Østegård 2003:98). As opposed to a tråklesøm sewn from the wrong side, this seam be very little visible on the wrong side. It is also like to little visible on the RS.
