Det var en gang tre venner som gikk

Det var en gang tre venner som gikk på jakt i skogen.
Utpå dagen ville de ta en pause. Da snublet de plutselig over en kiste som sto i skogen. De åpent kista, og oppdaget til sin store forbauselse og glede at den var full av gull.
Da de hadde tenkt en stund på hva de skulle gjøre med gullet, ble de enige om at de ville grave det ned og ikke fortelle det til noen.
Så ville de gå tilbake og hente det seinere.
De to eldste av dem begynte å grave et dypt hull til kista. Den tredje gikk til byen for å hente mat. De var sultne.
Mens de to første gravde, begynte de å snakke sammen om gullet og hva de skulle gjøre med det. Den eldste sa: " Hva om vi bare var to om å dele skatten? Da hadde det blitt mye mer på hver av oss!"
Den andre var enig, og samme la de en plan om hvordan de skulle ta livet av den yngste og behold hele skatten selv.
I mellomtiden gikk yngstemann og tenkte.
